High School Alaska Mission 2009: July 4th-11th, 2009
In July of next year, High School students from Holy Apostles will travel to Fairbanks, Alaska for a service-based mission trip. We will work to build a Christian Camp that serves as both an outreach to native Alaskans and a missionary center that will train and send out missionaries throughout Alaska to minister and preach the gospel to native Alaskans. The trip will be coordinated by NextStep Ministries, a missions organization that is based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For more information about NextStep Ministries, please visit them at www.nextstepministries.com.
Joining us will be leaders and youth from Good Shepherd (Centennial), Transfiguration (Vail), St. Matthew’s (Parker), and Ascension (Denver). The registration deadline for the trip was Sunday, November 2nd, but registration is still open to youth. The trip is open to all youth who will be entering grades 9-12 or who will graduate High School in 2009. Registration forms and further information are available on the youth bulletin board at church. If you have any questions, please contact Benjer McVeigh at the church.
How do I sign up?
